Overview On 24 June 2010, the Government
released exposure draft legislation setting out proposed Australian
Privacy Principles (APPs) to replace both the private sector National
Privacy Principles (NPPs) and the public sector Information Privacy
Principles (IPPs). The exposure draft constitutes the first part of the
Government’s Privacy Act reforms, with other parts to follow over coming
months.
Presidian will be hosting seminars for public and private sectors providing
a detailed overview of the proposed changes.
